๐ญ Vote Incentives Manager
๐ค What is a VIM ?
A Vote incentives manager (VIM) is a smart contract factory that allows incentivizers to set up a contract to manage their vote incentive. Each VIM is linked to a single gauge, a single reward token, and a single VoteMarket. This contract serves as a helper to provide better visibility for recurrent incentivizers (such as protocols) for their own liquidity gauges. It also simplifies their interactions by allowing them to interact with their contract, which then handles operations on the VoteMarket.
๐ Use case : Lockers Allocation using VIMs
When you cast your vote with veSDT to choose the allocation of SDT inflation in a Liquid Locker, you can also choose to direct your votes towards a specific sdToken/token gauge within the base protocol.
This process utilizes a VIM that has been deployed for that specific gauge, and it allocates SDTs as vote incentives for that gauge.
